Floral walls use plants to create works of art
This July 5, 2011 photo shows a living wall at the Biltmore Estate in Ashville, N.C. Living walls can be created in many different styles like this floral tapestry which was inspired by a stained glass window done by Louis Comfort Tiffany. The design is made up entirely of flowers and colorful foliage. It was done to highlight the Tiffany stained glass lamp exhibit being held at the Biltmore Estate this summer. Absolutely beautiful. I gave it to my mother for Christmas and I’m tempted to break into her house and steal it. Seriously, I’ve got a few similar lamps and this one is the nicest I’ve purchased.
