Township Looks to Sell 5 Koss Farms Lots
"For Sale" signs are a familiar sight in many local neighborhoods and now even the township is getting in on the summer selling season. Macomb Township is accepting bids for the purchase of five lots in the Koss Farms subdivision.
The fully improved platted lots will be sold "as is" and the buyer will be responsible for all closing costs. The bid must be for all five lots and the township reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, although there is no minimum bid price.
While the township has not had the property inspected, the property is available for inspection at any time prior to the submission of bids.
Bids must be submitted to the Macomb Township Clerk’s office by 10 a.m. on July 11.
The transfer of ownership will be by quitclaim deed.

Another Homeowner in Macomb Twp, Michigan Avoids Foreclosure by Completing a Short Sale with Macomb and Oakland Counties Leading Short Sale Realtor
Lori Brown, Macomb and Oakland County Michigan Leading Short Sale Specialist , known for her Real Estate experience in Short Sales, has just closed another Short Sale in Macomb Twp. Using her comprehensive Short Sale System, Lori Brown is able to handle a large volume of short sales and accomplish the goal at hand, to close the short sale.
The property, located on Hunters Drive in Macomb Twp., MI was listed with Lori Brown of RE/MAX Advisors. The process was not easy, but with the strong negotiating powers of Lori Brown, a bit of experienced problem solving and a comprehensive marketing process, Lori Brown achieved the difficult approval to close the home. The Hunters Drive home was only on the market for 28 days before a ready, willing, and able buyer contracted on the home. It took a total of 46 days for approval and 120 days from listing to close. Although the banks are working on their timelines and speeding up the short sale process, Lori Brown says this is a common length of time for the short sale to complete.
"There are no promises or guarantees in a Macomb or Oakland County Michigan short sale whether the lender(s) will approve the short sale or forgive the debt, but Short Sales offer an alternative to the damaging effects of a Michigan foreclosure," says Lori Brown, Short Sale Listing Specialist with RE/MAX Advisors. "A short sale is a complicated process for all parties involved. There are so many details involved (more than what the average homeowner and real estate agent is aware of). Make sure to consult a CDPE trained Short Sale Specialist with a proven history of success with short sales like Lori Brown."
