ResortQuest Real Estate announces 2010 Top Producers

Bill Hand of the Marketplace at Sea Colony office earned top honors for highest listing volume in 2010 by posting $15 million.

Rounding out the 2010 honors for top individual listing volume honors were: second place, Marc Grimes of the Bear Trap Dunes office with more than $14 million; and, third place, Dayna Feher of the Bethany Beach office for recording more than $13 million.

Other award winners for listing volume were: Colleen Windrow of the Marketplace office for more than $9.5 million in listing volume; Anne Powell and Jen Hughes of the Bayside office for more than $8.7 million; Tammy Hadder and Anna Meiklejohn of the Marketplace office for more than $7.9 million; Robert Kauffman of the Bethany Beach office for more than $6.6 million; and Despina Kaneles of the Marketplace office for more than $5.7 million; Linda Quasney of the Bayside office for more than $5.3 million; and Nicole Peterdozzi for the Marketplace office for more than $5.1 million.

Kaneles earned top honors for the highest selling volume in 2010 by posting $11 million.

Earning individual top selling volume honors for 2010 were: second place, Hadder and Meiklejohn for more than $8 million each; and third place, Windrow for $7.3 million.

Other award winners were: Hand; Hughes and Powell for $7 million in sales volume each; Peterdozzi and Quasney for more than $6.5 million in sales volume; and Grimes and Feher for more than $5.5 million in sales volume.

Singles, doubles tennis play at Pro Women's Open at Sea Colony ...

– The top three seeds advanced to the semifinals of the ResortQuest Pro Women’s Open at Sea Colony singles tournament, while the top two seeded doubles teams will meet in the finals.

No. 1 seed Maria-Fernanda Alves, of Brazil, and No. 3 seed Angelina Gabueva, of Russia, each rallied from first set losses to advance to meet each other in Saturday’s first semifinal match. Alves beat No. 8 Kyle McPhillips (USA), 6-7 (6), 6-4, 6-1, while Gabueva downed No. 6 Chanelle Van Nguyen (USA), 5-7, 6-4, 6-1. Second-seeded Lena Litvak (USA) will meet fellow American Denise Starr in tomorrow’s second semifinal match-up.

In doubles action, the top-seeded team Alves and Gabueva earned their spot in the finals by defeating Americans Kelsey Laurente and Nicole Robinson 6-2, 6-0. They will meet the second-seeded tandem of Alexandra Hirsch (USA) and Litvak, who advanced to the finals after beating the fourth-seeded team of Van Nguyen and McPhillips 7-5, 6-2.

Play resumes Saturday at 9 a.m., with the singles semifinals followed by the doubles final.
