Vintage Car Club of Alexandria has car show and swap meet Sunday
Gleaming chrome, custom paint jobs and immaculate engines will be on display at the Douglas County Fairgrounds this Sunday, June 26.
It’s the Vintage Car Club of Alexandria’s 23rd annual Car Show and Swap Meet.
The event, always held the last Sunday in June, will take place rain or shine. Gates open at 7:30 a.m. and registration runs until 11 a.m.
Awards will be presented at 2:30 p.m.
There will also be a pedal car giveaway to kids 5 and younger and a bicycle giveaway for children aged 6 through 12. (Must be present to win.)
General admission is $3 and free for those 65 and older and for children 12 and younger.

There will be music and food and beverages will be served on the grounds by the car club.

DCSAR will be hosting an informational meeting in Castle Rock at the Douglas County Fairgrounds, CSU Building, on Tuesday, July 19 at 7:00PM. 500 Fairgrounds Drive, Castle Rock, CO 80104
We will discuss the history of the Team, the physical requirements needed, some of the personal gear that you must have, the training that you will receive, and an overview of previous missions.
The rewards of volunteering on a Search and Rescue Team in Colorado are enormous. In 2010, the Team responded to 105 calls for help. Come join the 40 other Professionals that are proud to be with Douglas County Search and Rescue.
